Curly Magpie was established in 2012 to bring regular Vintage & Handmade Fairs to the National Forest, covering Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Burton upon Trent and Derby.
Why not come along to one of our events at The Riding School, Calke Abbey – Ticknall, Middleton Hall – Tamworth, Bosworth Battlefield – Leicestershire or The 1620s House and Garden – Leicestershire and take a look at what our fabulous stall holders have to offer!
Who are we?
Curly Magpie was created in 2012 as a platform for our love of craft, vintage homewares and secondhand delights. Leanne organises our vintage and handmade craft fairs throughout the East Midlands at The Riding School, Calke Abbey – Ticknall, Middleton Hall – Tamworth, Derby’s Eagle Centre Market or the National Memorial Arboretum – Alrewas .
Our Promise
Curly Magpie is not just another craft fair! We are a place where all are welcome, whatever they’re selling. We love old stuff that can be re-used or re-homed and we’ve created an event where there is a wide choice of goods – old & new, unique, carefully chosen or individually designed and made by our lovely stall holders. We value local people and hope to bring the community together by using our fairs to promote local attractions and support the local economy in any way we can. If you have an idea please feel free to get in touch, we are really friendly! Promise!!! x
